The Cross was revealed in the beginning, blossoming [as a] myrtle in the God-planted garden, having become a comforter unto Seth, foretold to Father Adam. In that we take refuge, having set our hope, upon which the Lord JESUS was nailed; and, bowing down, we worship the God-receiving holy sign.
