[the] Lord; blessed is the man who hopes in him. Fear the Lord, all you his saints, for there is no want to those who fear him. The rich have become poor and suffered hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Come, my children, listen to me, and I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man that desires life, [and] loves to see his days in goodness? Restrain your tongue from evil, and let your lips speak no deceit. Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] to their prayers. The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to destroy the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cried out to the Lord, and the Lord heard them, [and] delivered them from all their afflictions. The Lord is near to those who are crushed
