In his days, which was the year of the Lord 1113, Dawitʿ Tʿoṙnikean sits [as] the first Catholicos in Ałtʿamar. There takes place the II Council of the Black Mountain, and the Catholicosal See is transferred thither in the year 1115, after having been in Tʿawblur, and in Tsamndaw, and in Ani for 49 years; and in the year 1125 [transferred] to the fortress of Tsovukʿ; and after remaining on the Black Mountain and in the fortress of Tsovukʿ for 34 years, it is moved to Hṙomkla in the year of the Lord 1147. Saint Nersēs Šnorhali, Sargis Šnorhali, and Ignatius Vardapet [celibate Doctor of Theology] flourish, and Saint Nersēs Lambronatsʿi is born. 66. Lord Nersēs IV Klayetsʿi, who is also [called] Šnorhali. He writes an epistle to Kyros Manuel Komnenos, Emperor of the Greeks, and he to Šnorhali, concerning [ecclesiastical] union. 67. Lord Grigor IV, or Grigoris, called Tłay [the Child]. He ordains Saint Nersēs Lambronatsʿi a bishop. In his days took place the Minor Council of Hṙomkla and the Major Council of Hṙomkla concerning union with the Church of the Greeks. And in the year 1187, Sultan Saladin takes Jerusalem from the hands of the Latins. 68. Lord Grigor V Gahavēž [the Precipitated]. 69. Lord Grigor VI, who is also [called] Apirat. In his days, in the year 1197, was the beginning of the kingdom of the Rubenids under Levon II. 70. Lord Yovhannēs VII Metsabaroy [the Noble-Mannered], from Sis.
